Absolut’s new festival campaign
McConnells art director Dillon McKenna and illustrator Bren B have created new imagery to mark the second year of Absolut Vodka’s sponsorship of the Fringe Festival.
An outdoor campaign will be further supported by a quirky radio campaign written by copywriter Jody Ronaldson. Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, distributors of Absolut Vodka in Ireland, is to invest €750,000 this year in supporting the sponsorship, including a fully integrated marketing campaign.
‘‘The sponsorship worked really well for us,” said Richard Brickley, marketing manager of Absolut Vodka. ‘‘Last year, 72 per cent spontaneously recognised the brand as sponsor of the event. This is particularly important because it fits the long-standing association which Absolut has had with the world of creative and cutting-edge artists.”
