This is against a global average of 50 per cent.
Government trust fared little better, with levels plummeting to an all-time low of 28 per cent, from 31 per cent, against a global average of 49 per cent. Trust in media and NGOs has also fallen, but to a lesser extent.

The institute, which will be housed in the Chambers Ireland building on Merrion Square, is part of the Business and Training Solutions International Group. Membership is open to anyone involved in selling, although members must have achieved relevant sales or business qualifications. Full members must also demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
